Real 2017
The Womens Real Conference 2017 was held on Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st July. Here are the talks.
We Believe
Sat 1 July 2017 | Joy Blundell | 49:04
Romans 8 reminds us that creation is waiting on tiptoe to see if the children of God will liberate her. Joy encourages us as adopted children of God to step up and take our place in the redemption of creation
How I Do It!
Sat 1 July 2017 | Cathy Madavan | 39:35
Cathy shares a message on the widow with the oil encouraging us in persevering in our faith amidst adversity, using what is in our hand, focusing on what is in our control and giving the rest to God
I Can Do What God Says I Can Do
Sat 1 July 2017 | Joy Blundell | 40:05
Using the example of the woman with the issue of blood who put herself in the way of Jesus for restoration, Joy unpacks shame and vulnerability encouraging us that love and belonging are only possible if we are willing to be vulnerable
I Am Who God Says I Am
Sat 1 July 2017 | Cathy Madavan | 53:13
Cathy reminds us that like diamonds we are refined under pressure, flawed but precious and called to live out our God given purpose. She encourages us to believe that we are who God says we are, to give ourselves permission to be loved by God, to put down the things that others have said about us that hold us back and to turn up the volume of what God says about us.
God Can Do What He Says He Can Do
Sat 1 July 2017 | Emily Parker | 49:13
Emily unpacks Mark 9:14-27 and looks at the example of the father's belief in the passage: to persevere, to be patient and to proclaim our areas of unbelief to Jesus
God Is Who He Says He Is
Fri 30 June 2017 | Catrina Benham | 1:01:39
Opening the REAL 2017 conference, Catrina challenges us to live as believing believers, teaching from John 6:29 where Jesus answers the crowd’s question ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’ in replying  ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the one He has sent.’

During the talk, she introduces the other conference speakers and Emily interviews them to help us get to know them a bit better.
