We believe that every child, young person and adult with care and support needs should be valued, safe and protected from harm at all times.
To that end, the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults with care and support needs is of paramount importance to us and we have a robust Safeguarding Policy and a set of Safeguarding Guidelines in place that apply across the whole church, to all our activities and to our leadership, employed staff, volunteers and to anyone working for or representing us. We believe that the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults with care and support needs is everyone's business and responsibility.
For the purposes of safeguarding, the following are the church's designated team:
HR Manager and staff member with responsibility for safe recruitment
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Senior Management Team
Trustee with responsibility for safeguarding
