Deaf Hope is a lively group of deaf and hard of hearing people and their families. We catch up with each other on a Sunday at the 11 a.m. meeting where communication access is available every week from our BSL signers. Our buildings are equipped with a loop system too to help with both Sundays and midweek meetings. We are passionate about making all our events and courses as accessible as possible and are able to book BSL signers if required for courses or events at Kerith.
As a team we share a variety of skills including Signature's British Sign Language qualifications Level 1, TSLI (Trainee Sign Language Interpreter) and RSLI (Registered Sign Language Interpreter) qualifications, and Level 4/6 NVQ Certification in British Sign Language.
We also love getting together as our ‘Deaf Hope’ community for regular social activities and we meet fortnightly in an informal small group.
