Our vision at Mpower is to see the men of Kerith Community Church, both young and old, being empowered to live lives alive for God. We aim to enable and encourage them to be men after God's own heart, and to provide opportunities and space for community and fellowship, and a goodly portion of fun along the way.

There are a bunch of men's events and groups that we organise to this end:

Band of Brothers

An up-and-coming series of events that seek to provide a space to connect with God through breakfast, corporate worship and bible teaching - In that order. Band of Brothers events start at 9am in the morning at the main Kerith building on our Bracknell site. Bring a hungry stomach, a bible and notepad, and come expectant to hear from and connect with our Heavenly Father.

You can download recordings of messages from Bands of Brothers here.

Wild At Heart groups

Proverbs 27 v17 says "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another". Wild At Heart groups are made up of 3-5 men who meet regularly to connect deeply with other men, to be accountable to each other and to prayerfully support each other through all things. We believe that we're not meant to 'do' life alone, and that it is essential for men to have a small number of close iron sharping iron friendships to stay spiritually, emotionally and prayerfully fit.

Social and evangelistic events

Quiz nights, Comedy nights, BBQs - we love all of these things, and we hope you do to. Periodically throughout the year we run a variety of social events that are good opportunities to socialise with other men in the church, as well as providing a great place for men who wouldn't call themselves Christians to come along to. Got an idea for an event you'd like to see? Drop us an email or message and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Want to join the team to pray for men's ministry at Kerith? Come along to the prayer room first Monday of the month 7-8pm to pray!
