We want your children to have fun and learn something about God. Kids are welcome to join in the warm, fun atmosphere of Kerith Kids during our Sunday morning meetings.
At Kerith we are passionate about children, and creating a Kids work that helps your child develop spiritually from the under 5’s right up to school years 1 – 6. We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for children from babies to 11 year olds to have fun, to learn more about God in a way that is real and relevant to their age group by providing age appropriate Bible teaching.
Our focus is to have a place where children can meet and make new friends each week, and a place for them to enjoy exciting worship, crafts and small group interaction.
We’d love you to bring your children along.
To keep your kids safe and well while they are with us in Kerith Kids we run with a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy. From September 2014 we are introducing a new General Information and Consent Form for all children under 11. Whether you are a visiting or you have been coming regularly to Kerith for a number of years, you will all need to complete one of these forms for each of your children under 11. To save time please print out this information form and bring it with you filled in with your child/children's details. We will have copies on site if that's tricky for you to do.
We have 4 groups that make up Kerith Kids – Under 3s are Bounce, 3 and 4 year olds are Jump, Reception up to Year 4 are Run and Year 5 and 6 are Sprint. Registration for all groups begins ten minutes before our meetings start and you can collect your children immediately at the end of the adult meeting.
When our children meet together we remember that God is with us and we will encounter the power of the Holy Spirit as we worship and learn more about Him. Our worship is contemporary, age appropriate and definitely fun! The children in all their various age groups have the opportunity to pray together and to be prayed for by their leaders to equip them for everyday life.
At Kerith we follow the pattern of Jesus in giving thanks for children, or what some people would call a dedication. Click here to learn more.
