Building update - can you help?

It’s been a busy week in the Kerith Farnbrough building, with the Site Services team and some volunteers putting in a number of new doors. These will improve fire safety, and will help to keep the building insulated and secure.

Rob from Kerith’s Site Servces team.

As we continue to develop the Kerith Farnborough building, we need some volunteers to help Site Services team to clear some of the soft play equipment from the building. This will mean carrying items out from the building to the Kerith van so it can be disposed of. This will be from 10.15am on two Friday mornings, 22nd and 29th July, in line with when the Site Services team are working at Farnborough. It will take a couple of hours, and will need people who are physically able to carry items which may be bulky or heavy. In line with our Creation Care initiatives, the team will look to pass on recyclable material where possible.

These are the first of a few working parties that will be arranged over the summer, with other dates and times, and other sorts of activities planned. The team are working on plans for a multifunctional lounge where the remaining soft play is to the left of the current entrance, and we’ll be improving the entrance area and the coffee bar. These events are a great way to support what we are doing at Kerith Farnborough, and to meet other people in our church community. Please get in touch with James Hopkin if you have any questions, and keep an eye on our social media feed for further dates and information.
