Pray without ceasing!
As followers of Jesus we believe firmly in the power of prayer. We want to build a community where we turn to God in prayer before anything else, where we celebrate when He’s answered our prayers, and one where we lean on Him in greater ways!
One thing we’d love to build on this year is praying with intention for one another, and with one another as a church community. Part of this is to have a group of people who will faithfully pray for the needs of individuals, and our church, persereving in prayer and giving thanks when God answers our prayers. One of our community, Megan Ravenhill, has kindly agreed to oversee the administration of communicating our prayer requests to a team of people inteceding for others!
So from now on, there are 3 main ways to let us know your prayer requests when you have them;
You can complete a prayer card at church and pop it in the box (see the cards above!)
You can email our new address, kerithcare.farnborough@kerith.church
Please save the above email address and email us if you have a prayer request, or email any answered prayers for celebration and thanksgiving. These will be circulated via a prayer email to our prayer team on a regular basis, with your name anonymised.
Perhaps you’d like to receive these emails and be a part of the team praying for others? You can email the above email address, to request to be added to the list (For obvious reasons, we will only be able to add you if you are known to us at Kerith)
Lastly - don’t forget we have regular prayer meetings throughout the year. Why not come along to one, taking time to BREATHE IN the presence of God. You’re always welcome to stay afterwards to our worship rehearsal too, if you wish!) The next one is Thursday April 3th 7-8pm, with the other dates below.
I’m really excited to see and hear what God does this year, as we lean on Him in deeper ways and create more space to breathe in His presence.
