Our prayer rhythm

As part of our faith journey, we encourage everyone to take part in the following prayer rhythm:

  • Pray Alone everyday.

  • Pray with others once a week.

  • Fast for breakthrough once a month.

Prayer Dates - 2024

Each month we gather as larger groups to pray. Visit the ‘What’s On’ page and select your site to see when prayer meetings are happening in your location. Or see below to see the full 2024 dates of your location’s prayer gatherings.

Occasionally through the year we pray as a whole church together. This may be for a week of prayer and fasting, or for hour-long “One Church” Prayer Meetings. Other times we hold Vision Nights to hear the latest news and pray for the upcoming season as a church. Dates for 2024 are listed below:

Upcoming One Church Prayer Meetings and Vision Nights (from 7:30pm):

Pray alone everyday

Based on Jesus’ outline of how to pray in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, we are encouraged to use the P.R.A.Y. model. You can find out more about P.R.A.Y. on the website of the people who created it - Pete Greig and the 24/7 Prayer team.

One good way to start is to download the Lectio365 App to your smart phone and listen to or read the daily devotionals throughout the week.

Pray with others once a week

We prioritise praying together as we meet on Sundays and midweek in Small Group communities. We look to create opportunities for you to receive prayer if needed, and for us to pray for one another.

Join in on Simon Benham’s Prayercast every weekday morning via the Facebook page and pray with others online.

A bookable room for individuals or groups to pray, read, meditate, worship and draw near to God. There are comfy chairs, Bibles and books, CD and iPod players, a prayer wall. Upstairs in the studio - the small building in the Kerith Centre Car park, Church Road, Bracknell, RG12 1EH opposite the entrance to the Kerith Centre. You book your hour slot online on the 24/7 schedule by clicking on the button at the top of the page. You can book an exclusive slot (just for you) or an open slot (where others can book too).Once you book you will receive a confirmation email with more informationThere is a keypad on the entrance door and the access code for your day will be emailed to you an hour before your slot. 24/7, check the schedule for exact dates. Unfortunately, slots need to be booked. Slots get cancelled so keep checking back. Because there are not many residential houses around the prayer room, for people's own safety, we ask that prayer slots between midnight and 5am are only booked by married couples, two people of same sex or a group of three or more. Although the prayer room is upstairs, for those who find it hard to climb stairs there is a sofa downstairs in the studio, though during the working day the area is used by others too. Before booking a prayer room slot for yourself, please create a login (it's quick and easy) otherwise you won't be able to make any changes (for example, cancelling the booked slot) after you booked it. On the prayer room booking page you should see "CREATE A LOGIN" and "LOG IN". If you don't have an account yet, be sure to create one. If you have one already, just pick the slot which suits you and book it!
