Our prayer rhythm
As part of our faith journey, we encourage everyone to take part in the following prayer rhythm:
Pray Alone everyday.
Pray with others once a week.
Fast for breakthrough once a month.
Prayer Dates - 2025
Each month we gather as larger groups to pray. See below for the dates and times of prayer and worship gatherings are happening in your location.
Occasionally through the year we pray as a whole church together through weeks of prayer and fasting. Other times we hold Vision Nights to hear the latest news and pray for the upcoming season as a church. Dates for 2025 for these are listed below:
Weeks of Prayer & Fasting
Sun 26th Jan - Fri 31st Jan
Sun 5th Oct - Fri 10th Oct
(see below for details on how your site will meet and pray during these weeks).
Vision Nights - available from 7:30pm via the Kerith YouTube Channel

Sun 11th May
Sun 14th Sept
*Please note that dates and times are subject to change.
Pray alone everyday
Based on Jesus’ outline of how to pray in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, we are encouraged to use the P.R.A.Y. model. You can find out more about P.R.A.Y. on the website of the people who created it - Pete Greig and the 24/7 Prayer team.
One good way to start is to download the Lectio365 App to your smart phone and listen to or read the daily devotionals throughout the week.
Pray with others once a week
We prioritise praying together as we meet on Sundays and midweek in Small Group communities. We look to create opportunities for you to receive prayer if needed, and for us to pray for one another.
Join in on Simon Benham’s Prayercast every weekday morning via the Facebook page and pray with others online.
We also hold an online weekly Finance prayer meeting each Monday at , hosted by the elders of the church. You’re welcome to join us, just email info@kerith.church and you can receive the zoom link to access the gathering.
Fast for breakthrough once a month
Visit the 24/7 Prayer website for a beginner’s guide to fasting and guidelines to help you grow in prayer through fasting.

During daytime hours mostly. Check the schedule for exact dates and times.
-
Unfortunately, slots need to be booked.
-
Slots get cancelled so keep checking back.
-
Because there are not many residential houses around the prayer room, for people's own safety, we ask that prayer slots between midnight and 5am are only booked by married couples, two people of same sex or a group of three or more.
-
Although the prayer room is upstairs, for those who find it hard to climb stairs there is a sofa downstairs in the studio, though during the working day the area is used by others too.
-
Before booking a prayer room slot for yourself, please create a login (it's quick and easy) otherwise you won't be able to make any changes (for example, cancelling the booked slot) after you booked it.
-
On the prayer room booking page you should see "CREATE A LOGIN" and "LOG IN". If you don't have an account yet, be sure to create one. If you have one already, just pick the slot which suits you and book it!

Guided prayer experience
During the weeks of prayer and fasting we are challenging ourselves to pray for a whole hour - to help structure this we have created a guided audio prayer hour.
