Kids Picnic

On Sunday, our Farnborough kids met up for a picnic in the park. It was a couple of hours of fun, food, and great times seeing friends face to face! We saw children sprinting to one another in excitement (as they hadn’t seen each other in such a long time), obstacle course relay races where the competitive side of Kerith kids shone through, as well as lots of other fun activities! There was the added excitement of having a live session of PE with Jo in which half of Farnborough heard the children’s ecstatic squeals.

For both the parents and the children, it was wonderful to catch up with each other in person and reconnect over food, fun, and running around!

The picnic was a great reminder that church isn’t the building, but the gathering of people. In this season when we are preparing our new building ready for Sundays, why not get together with some others in the community for a picnic in the park too!
