And Now We're Here!
When they said, “Let’s go to the house of God,”
my heart leaped for joy.
And now we’re here, O Jerusalem,
inside Jerusalem’s walls!
- Psalm 122:1-2 (MSG)
Finally!
We've waited so long for a little more ‘normal.’ Gathering to celebrate together as His church in the Kerith Centre, lifting our voices in worship and bringing back Kids and Youth Work!
As we meet together with most restrictions lifted, I’d like to encourage us to continue to act with the safety of ourselves and others in mind. The building will remain adequately ventilated and we’ll keep the sanitation stations in place at our entrances. There's no requirement to book ahead but we ask that we all work with our host teams who will be on here to help us. Wearing masks is not mandatory but encouraged within the building, especially while we continue to pray for the infection rates to drop locally and for this pandemic and its effects to end worldwide. Let’s be aware and lovingly respect those who will still prefer or need to keep a safe distance. We’ll continue to give out ‘You Can Hug Me’ or ‘Just Wave’ stickers at the entrance to make those conversations easier.
In our adult meeting this Sunday, with a focus on Evangelism, Geri Jones will conclude the Ekklesia series on the Bracknell site, She’ll include a few interviews so we can hear some personal stories. I’m really looking forward to singing out loud with you in worship from this Sunday too. So whet your spiritual appetite and let’s get ready to encounter God together.
If you’re unable to come in person. you can continue to connect to Kerith Online. via the Kerith website and Kerith’s YouTube account. Please note that it won’t be exactly the same as what’s happening live on any of the physical sites. This doesn’t make it substandard to our physical meetings, neither is it any less an opportunity to encourage one another. Rest assured that this has been prayerfully put together to serve our online community well.
Kids & Youth Work
We’re so excited that Kerith Kids & Unleashed (Youth) are starting up again this Sunday. We are working hard to provide kids groups each week, but please do bear with us if some weeks we do not have the capacity for all the groups and all children that we would want to.
Kids: To help with our ratios, we would encourage children to go to the room & group they are in currently, according to their age:
Unleashed: After worship with the adults in the main auditorium, our Year 6 young people will exit to the lounge on the balcony to meet together.
The main doors will open at 9.30 am and the meeting will start at 10:00 am. I’m looking forward to seeing you and celebrating together!
