Let’s Encounter Jesus Together
This Sunday…
Simon's preaching in Bracknell as he starts off our new series on Encountering Jesus. The first one in the series is about 'Searching for Security' and takes a look at the rich young ruler. The worship band is in the house this week, to lead us live, as we lift our hearts and voices to the praise of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
Kids & Youth Work
Youth: Summer Sanctuary takes place this weekend for our young people, and as the youth team are all involved in the event, Unleashed will not be happening at Bracknell this Sunday. Youth who have not booked to attend the weekend event are more than welcome to join in on the full length of the adult meeting.
Kids: Kids groups will be holding this Sunday, however, there will be no Kids Work on August 8th and September 5th as we currently only have team to cover 3 out of 4 Sundays on our weekly rotas to serve. Want to join the team for Kids or any other serving role? Please check here.
Gift Days
Our history as a church in Bracknell (formerly Bracknell Family Church, and before that, Bracknell Baptist Church) goes as far back as 1881. That makes it 140 years this year that we've existed. Over the years, we've seen great generosity that has helped us build and create a safe space to gather as a community to encounter God, worship together, help the poor or who have had a temporary change in their circumstances, run courses, celebrate births and weddings and see lives changed for good.
Last Sunday and the upcoming one, we’re having Gift Days with a focus on our Farnborough & Windsor sites' building projects. This is another opportunity to give towards the future of seeing individuals, families and groups of people blessed within our communities, both on Sundays and midweek.
For more, please see Simon Benham's Blog
To give, please visit the 'Giving' page of the Kerith website or follow these quick links:
P.S. Don't forget to Gift Aid it!
New Giving Stations
We know that most people within our community give financially through our online channels. Even though this is still our preferred way to receive this, we are aware that some of us still prefer to give cash and cheques when we gather on Sundays. As we no longer pass baskets around during meetings, if you'd rather give in person, please make use of our new giving stations within the main reception of the Kerith Centre.
Podcast Help
Do you have an hour or two each week to help us edit and post the podcasts of the messages preached on the Bracknell site? To volunteer, please email production@kerith.church with 'Podcast Help' as the subject. Thanks!
