Did you know?
Well, in case you missed it...
Last Sunday, 13th March, our Senior Pastor, Simon Benham, updated us on our Ukrainian appeal, digital church plans and our finances. We also had a special guest, John Kirkby (founder of Christians Against Poverty) talking about his latest project, Isaiah61.
Here's a link to the recording:
On Sunday, 20th March...
We're looking forward to hearing from our very own Esther Carter as she brings the message. We'll also be sharing communion—remembering Jesus’ death and the fullness of life He has welcomed us into.
Coming up soon...
Spotting the Signs of Slavery
A Justice & Care Workshop
Wednesday, 23 March 2022
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
K2 Building, Church Rd, Bracknell RG12 1EH
Within the UK, there are more than 100,000 victims of modern slavery. Among them women, men and children forced to work in brothels, car washes and on building sites.
Slavery is said to be a crime that is hidden but in plain sight and it is happening within Bracknell, Farnborough and the surrounding areas. At Kerith Church, we are passionate about trying to bring freedom to those affected and justice to those responsible. We know though it is difficult to even spot the issue, let alone work out how to help those affected.
That’s why on Wednesday, 23 March we are joining with our friends from Justice and Care to provide an interactive training evening - equipping you to spot the signs of exploitation and giving you the tools you need to report them.
Justice and Care works alongside police, helping to provide tactical advice into cases and support to survivors to rebuild their lives. We’d love for you to join us.
