Prayer Meeting - new Time 6-7pm, Sunday
Congratulations to England Men’s Football team on making it our of the group stages of the World Cup in Qatar! :-)
Commiserations to the Welsh team on their exit from the competition ;-(
One of the unintended consequences of last night’s win for England is that their next game with Senegal kicks off on Sunday at 7pm, just before our planned prayer meeting. I can’t believe the organisers didn’t factor that into their planning!
So, in order that as many of us as possible can pray AND watch the football (if you’re interested in that sort of thing,) we’ll move the prayer meeting to 6pm-7pm and you can either nip home to catch most of the rest of the game, or stay at the Kerith Centre to watch the first half and nip home in the interval!
(Since Jesus loves the whole world, we won’t be praying corporately for any particular match result!)
We will be praying for what God wants to do in us and through us this Christmas - praying for LOVE - JOY - HOPE - PEACE for ourselves, our nation and the world. We’ll be led for each section by different folks within our Bracknell community. We may even get to set up stations around the Kerith Centre so we can pray on the move throughout our time together.
We look forward to welcoming you there, now for 6pm on Sunday evening.
God bless,
Ben & Beccy Oliver, interim Site Pastors
