Why is 19th December a Date to Remember?

Here’s a special message from Sarah Cooper, to bring you up to speed with our plans for the Kerith Christmas Experience in Bracknell.

“We can't believe that in under two weeks we will be all together celebrating Carols in the Kerith Centre again! And this year we have even more for you – an indoor AND outdoor experience to enjoy.

SO - this is what you'll need to know for the 19th:

Firstly - NO CHURCH on Sunday morning - but you are so welcome to come and help us set up from 11 am!

The Kerith Christmas Experience starts at 4 pm outdoors and our festive Carol Concerts are live in the auditorium at 5 pm and again at 6 pm. They will last for approximately 30 min and you'll need a ticket. But this year we have even more with a super fun outdoor experience that will wrap around the indoor carols.

We are transforming the car park into stalls and food and a seating area for chatting and drinks - we have kids and grown-up crafts to participate in making, free hot dogs and mulled punch, our animals are back, courtesy of Farms2Ewe, as well as outdoor entertainment with our Kerith carol singers of all ages and the brilliant Albie J (aka Michael Bublé). We'll have a sweet stall where you can buy candy floss, cupcakes, reindeer chocolate, sweet cones, hot chocolate, and milkshakes. There's a nativity-themed puppet show for younger children and our very own Journey to Bethlehem movie theatre will be streaming in our K2 building throughout the afternoon—the interactive version at 4 pm and the uninterrupted one at 6 pm.

All of this is to remind you to make sure you have invited friends and family to join us on the 19th! We'll be encouraging people to wear masks inside and we have hand sanitiser in all our areas. If you’d rather remain outdoors only, that’s fine as we’ll have lots of external fun going on outdoors through the evening.

The teams are filling up for the event but we are still looking for help in a number of areas, or if you have a gazebo you could lend us—PLEASEtake a look at the options and sign up to help here.”
