On the first Sunday evening of each month we gather for prayer as a church community. Some months we do that online with the other Kerith sites, sometimes it’s just as our Kerith Farnborough meeting in our building.

This Sunday at 7pm we will be meeting to pray as usual, but we’re going to do things a little differently. We want to take our prayer warriors out of the building and into the streets, to pray for those who live closest to our building.

When you travel in on a Sunday you may not realise that there is a large housing estate adjacent to our church. It can be accessed through a couple of pathways leading from Invincible Road - the photo below hopefully gives you a clearer understanding of how close we are to this large residential area. The Kerith logo shows where our building is.

We will park in the carpark then walk along to the residential area, praying for those who live there for 45 minutes or so. We want to see transformation in the lives of those who don’t already know Jesus and the first place to start with that is in praying for the people of Farnborough! It’s not quite a pilgrimage…we may not be singing the psalms of ascent as we go…but there is a slight hill!!

If you are a parent of young children, I realise that 7pm isn’t the best time - but if they are slightly older, why not bring them along too for a walk as we pray and intercede for God to move in our local community.

Hope to see some of you there this Sunday evening!
