A bit about Kerith Kids
In each of our sites we have a slightly different combination of roles, but there is one thing that is consistent - serving in Kerith Kids is one of the most rewarding things you will do. Partnering with parents in their child’s discipleship journey is a real privilege as they chose to be friends with Jesus for themselves. Just by being a part of the team means you enable up to 8 children to access our groups! Have a look at the various roles below and consider which may suit you best - we will then be in touch to take you through our safe recruitment process.
We operate a buddy system for children who have additional needs and need a bit of extra support, helping them to access our groups in the way that suits them best. You will get to know the family as well as the child in this role and training (relevant to the child’s needs) can be given.
Kids+ Team
Love being with children? This is the right role for you! Sometimes you will be leading or taking part in games, helping with craft or worshipping with the children. You will help create a space to welcome children into an environment suitable for them and also help within small groups, where children will explore faith together linked to teaching.
Kids Group Helper
Perhaps you have a gift for storytelling or communicating - maybe you have presenting or drama skills - or simply a love for children to know the word of God. We would love to hear from you!
Kids Group Teacher
Ensuring that our kids areas are secure and being the welcoming friendly first face to families - this role isn’t with children themselves, but is key in helping provide a safe and enjoyable space for children’s ministry to take place.
Kids Ops Team
Help support the children’s ministry by taking the lead in the technology behind the visual and auditory experience within our Kerith Kids groups.
Kids Tech Team
Overseeing our check in areas, being another welcoming face to families, answering questions from new families, ensuring everyone is where they should be at the right time - if you can greet people with a smile, are calm under pressure and have a gift for administrative processes, we would love to hear from you.
Administrator
At Kerith we run two toddler and parent groups called; ‘Sparklers’ and ‘Who Let The Dad’s Out?’. There are plenty of roles you can get involved with in both of these groups. From storytelling & music to welcoming parents and carers, to helping with the smooth running of our toddler groups, there are so many roles you can get involved with!
