Bingo | Quiz Night | Alpha | Finances!
Yayyy! So many great things to tell you about! I will try and keep this brief..!
Bingo went really well on Saturday - THANK YOU to all of you who came and have given to support Sam and Seth, they really appreciated it. There over 60 of us there and they raised £500! This is an amazing start to their fundraising journey to enable them to go to Borneo in 2024 to work in the community out there.
You can still give to Sam here and Seth here as they still have a long way to go to raise all the money they need.
Quiz Night
We have another social event lined up in November, we will be doing the Tearfund Big Quiz on Saturday 19th November 7-9pm ish (tbc) so save that date and get hot on all those random bits of general knowledge!
Alpha - Exploring Life, Faith & Meaning
Dave & Karen are running an in-person Alpha course this term starting on 13th October 7-9pm, running for 8 weeks. If you, or someone you know are asking some big questions about life and faith, and want to explore what Christianity has to say about it all, Alpha is a great, non-threatening, tasty (there's a meal!) place to do it. You can sign up here.
Do pray about who you could invite, and go with them! It's free and you get a yummy dinner!
Finances
I just wanted to share our monthly finance update with you. Simon, our Senior Pastor, has made a short video which you can find here (just scroll down a bit - it's under 2 mins), which tells us some good news about the finances across all of our sites. So a huge thank you to everyone who gives! It's making a difference and helping to build the kingdom of God.
