November and Christmas Excitement 🎄

Christmas is coming and we’re getting excited! I hope you are too..!

There's a bunch of great stuff happening through December and we've got something important to do until then to help others have a jolly Christmas too. So read on to find out more..!

🎄Reverse Advent Calendar

This November, we want to spread some Christmas love to folks in crisis by making up some special Christmas boxes for the Isle of Wight Foodbank. Here's how you can help:

EITHER

1.            Grab the reins and collect a whole Advent Calendar worth of items! Then, bring your jolly box of goodies to church on 26th November (or any Sunday before).

OR

2.            Feeling like Santa's helper? On Sunday take a tag with a number on it from the tree and bring in the item from that day of the Advent Calendar on any Sunday throughout November. And don't be shy, take as many tags as you like!

Together, let’s spread some Christmas joy and make as many boxes as we can to deliver to the Foodbank by 1st December.

🎄Christmas Experience – Sunday 17th December

The Christmas experience is a brilliant way to serve and reach our community, friends and family. In the afternoon and evening, we'll open our doors to the whole community, we'll gather indoors for our contemporary carol service and then, outdoors we'll be offering free hot food and festive drinks. There will be live animals to pet, crafts and outdoor activities. It's a beautiful event that captures the true essence of Christmas, introducing Jesus in a relaxed, unpressured environment, and can help people take steps in their faith journey.

Don’t forget you can sign up to help on any of our teams.

Sign yourself up to the event for free here now, and on Sunday, pick up some flyers and a little gift to give to anyone you'd like to invite.  Anyone who signs up to the event before Friday 15th December will be entered into a prize draw to win a deluxe box of Christmas chocolates.

See you there! ❄️
