Easter at Kerith
You are invited to join us at Kerith Community Church Bracknell this Easter – there is something for everyone as we explore what it means to be truly ALIVE!
Good Friday - 18th April
Walk of Witness from 10:30 am
The Churches in Bracknell are coming together on Good Friday, with an event meeting at 10:00 am in Holy Trinity Church. From 10.30 am we will be taking a Walk of Witness, through the Bracknell town centre. Either join us from 10am or meet us en route through town as we’ll be stopping to share the Easter readings along the way.
Family Easter Journey 3-6pm
Friday 18th April, 3:00 pm-6:00 pm
A fun, reflective and interactive journey for all ages – suitable for adults and children under 11 – to experience the Easter Bible story together. Invite family and friends to go on a journey to find out about the Easter story, with crafts and Easter activities to help you think. Hot cross buns will be served too!
This is a free event but you will need to book a ticket in advance. To stagger the event, tickets will be booked as a timed entry in 15-minute slots. The trail will last roughly 1 hour, but you are welcome to go around at your own pace.
This year we have curated prayer stations around the Kerith Centre for an hour of personal reflection on the last week of Jesus's life and the events surrounding the Crucifixion. Join us as a small group, and journey through the stations together, or as an individual for more private reflection. At 8:30 pm we will congregate to worship together for the last half an hour before releasing those who are unable to stay on for the half night of prayer.
Half Night of Prayer 9:00 pm-midnight
As a community these extended times to pray together are precious, especially on the eve of Holy weekend. Join us as we pray "Your Kingdom Come" for our world, our local community, our church and ourselves. All are welcome - come for half an hour, an hour or the whole evening.
