It’s (almost) Christmas!

As we are extremely positive and hopeful that this Christmas will be very different from what we we were able to do last year, I’m happy to share our Christmas plans for December. So please get those dates in your diaries!

Sundays 5th & 12th December - Sunday Morning Meetings

These meetings will be similar to our regular 10:00 am ones—with the addition of carols, decorations and lots of evidence that Christmas is nigh!

Sunday 19th December - The Kerith Christmas Experience

We’re be taking it up a notch!

Our Kerith Christmas Experience aims to be a fun, easy-to-invite opportunity for us to invite our friends & family, neighbours & colleagues — especially those that wouldn't normally consider coming to church. There will be no morning meetings that day to make space for an outdoor-indoor, afternoon-evening event!

What does that include?

Well, think Christmas Market rather than traditional Carol Service: from outdoor animal stalls, gingerbread decorating, craft corners, hot dogs, mulled punch, Christmas music and whatever we can fit in our car park to a short carol service in the warmth of indoors running at two different times so people can come and go as best suits them. The stalls and carol events will be for all ages and for the whole family to enjoy (no separate kids or youth work).

This is an opportunity to pray towards, serve and give to. Remember, the focus is community, evangelism and family, so plan to invite your people, especially those that wouldn’t normally come to church.

Suggested timings between 4:00 pm till after 7:00pm :

4-5 pm: Arrive anytime within this hour to enjoy the stalls ahead of the carol services.

5 pm & 6 pm: 30-minute long carol services with bible readings and a short message (30 minutes reset between each service)

From after 7pm: Set-down of the stall events

Volunteer: We’d love a whole host of us volunteering to help out. If you consider yourself a part of Kerith Bracknell, this is OUR event so let’s host it together!
In the days to come, we’ll be sending out links to forms to indicate your area of interest but if you’re already excited and want to help, why wait? Please email sarah.cooper@kerith.church or info@kerith.church
