Tea or Coffee anyone?
September's here! Where has the year gone? It's the start of the Autumn term and with this we welcome new opportunities to refresh. Let’s gather together to worship and encourage one another once again this Sunday. We'll also listen to a message Simon has pre-recorded specially for us as he is away this week for a new term of residential studies with Westminster Theological Centre (WTC) along with a number of our pastors and team.
Kids & Youth Work
Our Youth will be gathering together in Unleashed again this Sunday however there will be no Kids Work. We're still welcoming people to volunteer to join the kids & youth teams as well as our other serving teams across the church. Feel God's nudging you to volunteer? Interested? Here's a quick link to find out more and join our teams.
Bracknell Half Marathon and Road Closures this Sunday, 5 Sept
On Sunday, 5 September, The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon will return to the town centre. Some road closures will be in place and will likely affect our commute in for our meeting. In order to plan your journey, please follow the links below to see details of the affected routes with timings, as well as the race map.
Teas and Coffees…
Drinks are back to being served in Bracknell this Sunday! At the end of the meeting, please help yourselves out to one on the way out through the reception, and enjoy it in the car park while we catch up with one another.
Covid-Safety
We want to continue to remain safe as we gather in the building. For those who'd rather sit in one of our Social Distancing sections, please we'll also expect you to wear a mask there. We'll continue focusing on making ventilation and air circulation a priority throughout the building space. As the weather seems to have dipped, this might mean that the auditorium will be a bit cooler. You might need to bring along a jumper or extra layer.
Baptisms
Our first set of Baptisms since we’ve begun gathering again in-person comes up on 12th Sept. If you’re a Christian, haven’t been baptised and you consider this a next step for you, please register online before the end of Monday 6th Sep 2021 by going to the Bracknell site page of our website, then scroll down for the Baptisms link. Please note that we won’t be taking spontaneous baptisms on the morning this time around.
Thanksgiving Sunday
The next one comes up on 26th Sept. To find out more and book your child in, please visit the link below and scroll down to 'Thanksgivings.'
God’s Blessings,
