CAP Meet&Brew - starts Wednesday 7th June – 10:30am, monthly in the Kerith Farnborough building

At Kerith we believe in being a safe haven and a source of provision to our local community. Across our sites we provide practical help and support to address any immediate needs and offer signposting or training to encourage long-term recovery and progression towards achieving stability and security.

Here in Farnborough we're launching a new initiative to be there for anyone in our church or in our local community that may be facing difficult circumstances. Starting at 10.30am on Wednesday 7 June, under our Kerith Revive banner and with our friends at Christians Against Poverty, we'll be launching CAP Meet&Brew.

This is a time for anyone to stop in for a drink and a chat or to find a friendly, safe place, to rest. There'll be face-to-face debt help and money coaching, and a chance to try our benefits checker. We're also going to have No Questions Asked bags available, containing food and essential items for local families and individuals who turn up to collect them for free - no questions asked.

Please pray for this initiative, and consider volunteering to be part of the team; there's always room for more support, including people who can come along and have a chat!

Even if you can't attend in person - if you're in a position to donate items to our bags, there is have a collection point for food items towards the No Questions Asked bags over in our Kerith Lounge area. Please bring along and non perishable items such as cereal, long life milk, soup, pasta, tins of meat or vegetables, tea/coffee, toilet roll, biscuits. We'd love to bless people in this way. Also if you ever are in a position to receive a bag yourself, please do get one - remember, No questions asked.

If you have any questions, or want to get involved, speak to CAP Debt Centre Manager Ken Evans.
