A kind of 'normal' Sunday

This Sunday we will be having our first Sunday without any restrictions for 17th months! Really can't believe its been that long. This means they'll be no need to book your place online, you won't have to wear a mask and..... we will be able to sing!

As much as we are really excited about all that, lets continue to use safe practice where we can.

Here are some things to be aware of and stuff we can continue to do on Sundays when we gather:

Although we don't have to wear masks some people might feel they'd like to continue. That's absolutely fine of course, we would encourage it at the moment with the infection rates going up.

For those who would like to keep their distance from people we have stickers asking for 'Just a wave' or ‘Give me a hug’. Some of us may have wanted one of those for years! :)

Let's keep in mind some of our young adults, many have not had both jabs so may not feel comfortable with people getting too close.

If you have not had the vaccinations for whatever reason, or would just like to remain socially distanced, you can sit on the stools in the refreshments area, You can still see the platform and engage with the meeting.

They'll be hand sanitiser stations in reception and around, lets all get in the habit of using them.

I'm going to do a test every week, perhaps that's something you would be willing to do too.

We will keep the doors open where we can to allow for more ventilation.

Kids Work

We will have kids work this Sunday but due to currently building our teams back up our kids work will only be happening every other week; please get in touch if you would like to serve in our kids ministry. Until we do build up the teams please feel free to bring your children into the main meeting when we can’t have kids work, and don't worry if they run about! We are really looking forward to seeing them all again :)

So it is still going to feel a bit different but I’m really looking forward to this Sunday. We have live worship and James Manwaring speaking as we finish the ‘Ekklesia’ sermon series. So let’s come expecting to meet with God, and open to what His spirit may want to say to us through what James brings.

Hope to see you Sunday. Bring your best and loudest singing voices :)
