Friday: Week of Prayer & Fasting

Let’s pray about
Our Bracknell Building and Funds

  1. Let’s give thanks to God for The Kerith Centre, K2 and The Studio + Prayer Room. (Did you know that when The Kerith Centre was opened in 1989, at a cost of £3.1 million, 98% of the money was raised by the congregation’s generosity and sacrificial giving? What a blessing from God!)

  2. Let’s thank God for all the Sunday meetings, events and midweek ministries we’re able to run out of them, the life change that happens here and the positive impact this has in our community. Ministries like Sparklers, Bracknell Foodbank. Revive Café, Small Groups.

  3. Let’s pray for individual needs to be met, God’s amazing provision and abundance in our homes, families and communities. Also that those seeking new jobs and promotions will have success in doing so. Likewise, those that are seeking conducive housing and improvement in their living conditions will have these needs met.

  4. Let’s pray that well before the year runs out, we’d have cleared the deficit of £180,000 we’re running at in our budget across all our sites; and that we’d enter surplus once again.

  5. Let’s pray for the provision we need to raise the remaining £114,000 budgeted in our Bracknell Building Fund, having thankfully raised £76,000 in 2023. This has all been aimed at:

    • replacing our old ceiling lights (which are not energy efficient and emit predominantly green light),
    • replacing  the balcony speakers (we replaced our mics at the end of 2023), and
    • the environmental impact survey (which we’ve done and are awaiting the results) that should help us minimise our carbon footprint.
