Follow Me… as we explore Discipleship

My heart's been warmed to see more and more people come to the Kerith Centre each Sunday in the last couple of months. I’ve gotten to see dear members of our community that we haven't laid eyes on in many months and others we've only ever met online before now. We’ve been especially glad to welcome wonderful folks who have come newly, worshipping with us for the very first time.

In the Kerith Centre this past Sunday (and now more seats available!)

This past Sunday, on the 4th of July, we had our first live preach in the building since we moved from hosting Watch Events to holding In-Person Sundays. Esther Carter led us so well in looking at Ministry, under the Ekklesia series, and reminded us that we are all royal priests when we become a part of God’s family. So straighten your crown! Stand tall! Pray Up, Robe Up and Show Up as the royal priest you are. Represent God by ministering to the people in your world. Represent the people in your world to God by lifting them up in prayer to Him. Remember you are #UniquelyPlaced and #UniquelyGifted just like Queen Esther—you have come to your royal position for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

During the response time after her message, the worship band led us in a new song, Champion by Bethel Music & Dante Bowe. Here are links to the original live version and the lyric video of the alternate version, so you can keep on enjoying it, like I have.

Last Sunday, keeping within safety guidelines, we had 120 spaces available to be booked in advance, which were all taken. I'm glad to share that we've been able to increase that capacity to 150 people for the next couple of weeks before restrictions are lifted. You can book in for this Sunday here.

On Sunday, 11th July…

We’ll have the joy of Simon Benham, our Senior Pastor preaching in-person on the Bracknell Site. Follow us even further into the Ekklesia series as Simon focuses on Discipleship and what this means to the church. To join us in-person, please book a seat here.

Even though we'll have pre-recorded worship this Sunday, we'll get to lift our hearts and hands in unity under the same roof! We're moving closer to when we can sing out loud, so I'm hoping you're training your vocal cords to lift up a shout to praise of our Heavenly Father and bring down those spiritual barriers like the Jericho walls!

Look out for the Kerith Roadmap Update from Simon this Sunday. You'll get a sense of our plans for future meetings regarding masks, singing out loud, and when we'll be beginning Children's & Youth work again.

After the meeting, we’ll get to catch up with each other and chat outside the building. If you’ve parked in the college car park, please note that access to the path down the side of K2 will be locked once the building administrator is locking the front doors of the Kerith Centre (about 10-15 minutes after we’ve all exited). However, there’s no need to fear if you’re deep in chat, as you can still get to the college the long way round.

 It get’s REAL this Saturday!
