New faces at Kerith….
WOW- what a brilliant Sunday! Our young people did a great job of hosting church for us, such a powerful picture of how we ALL get to play our part in community here at Kerith Bracknell.
Here’s our youth co-ordinator Bryn McGlashan reflecting on the morning….
“When I joined the youth staff team in the summer of 2022, most of the conversations were around what youth might look like ‘post-Covid’. Would our young people be ready to go back to week-in week-out youth sessions, would they still be dedicated to faith and church? Would they struggle to engage again and respond to conversations about God after such a long time away in lockdown?
It’s been SUCH a joy this year seeing the way our youth have grown in faith & in confidence, and watching how friendships have developed and strengthened. This Sunday was not only the culmination of an incredible year together but also the beginning of the journeys they are on with Jesus. From speaking with such maturity about the way that they make God’s Word a central part of their day, to the way that they engage with the social issues dominating school life, it was inspiring to hear just how much they have to bring to our church family. If you haven’t yet been able to catch Catrina’s preach and subsequent interview with our teenage panel, you can do so here at this web link..”
Could this be you?
Bryn also shared that in order to support the number of young people that pile into the balcony every Sunday and join youth on Fridays we are looking for at least 15 more youth leaders in September!!!
Those of us on the youth team come away from the sessions we support feeling challenged and encouraged in our faith. These kids are the REAL deal when it comes to loving Jesus! Whatever age you are don’t count yourself out- as consistent supportive adults are a huge blessing to this ministry. If you feel a ‘God prod’ about supporting these young people then please sign up SOON so we can get your DBS’s through over the Summer ready for September.

New Office Team Bracknell Site Co-ordinator -Sonya Tumuluri
We’re really excited to announce that Sarah Cooper’s successor, Sonia Tumuluri has begun her role in the office supporting our volunteer host and small group teams.
Pelumi and I are super excited to have our team full again, and already we are noticing the difference as Sonya has jumped into the role with her pen and pad at the ready!
Sonya has some great experience of managing events and growing businesses with her husband as they are both entrepreneurs, a great skill for growing church!
Please be praying for her and her daughter Neha (see photo above!) as they negotiate this new work/church pattern together.
