Sunday’s coming, here’s the plan …

The week has arrived!

We have been praying as a team for the start of something really special this weekend, CREATING SPACE FOR HEALTHY GROWTH, means first we have to MOVE to create the space. We’ll all feel the shift I think on Sunday, lets be open to how God is going to work in and through us to fill back up the spaces we create!

There will be 2 types of people this week. The first will have taken stock of all the details that have come their way over the past weeks about our move to 2 meetings on Sunday, the second type will wander in on Sunday at 10am and be surprised that the car park is so full! If you are reading this then I assume you are nearer the first category- please smile kindly at the 10am arrivals, when it comes to my kids football fixtures - I am that parent, so I understand how they will feel!

THE PLAN

Arrival for the 9:30 + 11:30 - ALL IN TOGETHER IN THE AUDITORIUM

We are all gathering together in the auditorium as we now have a new rhythm as starting together as a church family across the ages! We’ll release the 0- year 4 children half way into the worship set to head to their age appropriate spaces to learn more about Gods Word together!
Note to the 11:30 community, we don’t yet know how many of the 9;30 cars will have left the car park by the time you arrive so please be gracious to our traffic team as they help us all to get in and out this week as we find out what the natural flow will be.

Under 18s registration for groups - pre meeting

  • If you have 0- year 4 aged children please register them in our New to Kerith area from 15 mins before the meeting. This area will close at 9:45 as our volunteers will need to be in K2 at that time.

  • Yr 5-6 (Sprint) the normal registration applies at the top of the far balcony stairs and they sit with their group for worship.

  • Youth ( Yrs 7-10) we are asking to pre register before the meeting also - in the Kerith Lounge ( top of the near stairs). Youth can do this themselves, but parents would you make sure they are heading in that direction as they arrive! Years 7-8 will meet weekly in the Unleashed room ( off the balcony) and years 9-10 will be over in the prayer room. As we have not had the leaders take up we would like to we are going to have to release the Yr 11+ group this term to serving or attending the adult meeting.

    Parent and Toddler/Baby space.

For families with preschool children not yet confident to be in their groups for a whole session, we will return to the Parents Room being in the Brook Lounge off the reception, this means you will have more space to move around, feed your children and for buggies!

We will also continue with our families resources table at the back of the auditorium at the 11:30 so that the children with us in the meeting have the opportunity to engage in the bible content, craft and home learning resources each week!

NB: We have been onboarding youth + kids team as people have signed up to serve, but at this stage we are still having to limit groups so we’ll let you know the plan of which groups are running at the start of each meeting. We know this is a process of building back up to full capacity so we have no anxiety that to start with we don’t have all ‘the boxes ticked’ .

At the end of the meetings

After the 9:30 we will have refreshments as usual ( you are in for a treat this Sunday….we might have heard the words ‘Krispy Kremes’) and a chance to do the important work of a healthy community- having a good chat!

To bless our 11:30 community it would be great to take those chats down to the car park by 11:15 so we can release your parking space to the next meetings guests ( I know I’m speaking to all the extroverts in the house!)

After the 11:30 we have the same refreshments so you have time to chat together before heading home for lunch!

We can’t wait to all be back together again this Sunday!
