Week of Prayer -Starts on Sunday!
It was great to be together on Sunday to launch our 2024 Vision to Create space for healthy growth. In order to grow healthily we need to be walking in Jesus’s footsteps as we plan and this week of Prayer and Fasting is perfectly timed for this!
When we clear out time to pray specifically we find God speaks in incredible ways -we can’t wait to hear from God and allow Him to mould our hearts through prayer this week.
Why don’t you get planning and book time in our prayer room on site at Kerith (see this link) or see below and join in on the rhythm of the week.

Fasting….?
Fasting shows us how quickly we rely on things, rather than God. In Matthew 6: 17 Jesus says “When you fast..” not if. So there’s something in abstaining from food that is helpful enough that Jesus saw it as a given.
Fasting shows us how quickly we rely on things, rather than God. While fasting implies abstaining from food, it more importantly means a feasting on God - an utter dependence upon the presence of God beyond the sustenance of food. In doing so we prove the words Jesus quoted during His own fast: “…man does not live by bread alone but by every word that precedes from the mouth of God...”
